Accessibility Statement
Pzartech Ltd. is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance status
This website is designed and built to conform to Israel Standard 5568, which is aligned with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA. Compliance is required by the Equal Rights for People with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Accommodations) Regulations, 5773-2013.
Specific measures we have taken include:
- Semantic HTML5 landmarks (
header, nav, main, section, footer) so assistive technologies can navigate the page structure. - A “skip to main content” link as the first focusable element on every page.
- Visible keyboard focus indicators on interactive elements such as links, buttons, and the partners carousel controls.
- Sufficient color contrast: navy text on white meets a contrast ratio of approximately 12:1, well above the 4.5:1 minimum required by WCAG 2.0 AA for normal text.
- All non-decorative images carry descriptive
alttext. Decorative images (background photo overlays, icons paired with adjacent text) are markedaria-hiddenor have emptyaltattributes so screen readers do not announce them twice. - Respect for the
prefers-reduced-motionmedia query: all animation and smooth-scroll behavior is disabled when the user has requested reduced motion at the operating-system level. - The current section is announced via
aria-currentin the navigation menu as the user scrolls. - External links open in a new tab with a screen-reader-only “opens in a new tab” suffix in their accessible name.
- The site is fully keyboard navigable; no functionality requires a mouse.
- The page works correctly when zoomed to 200% in the browser, with no horizontal scrolling at standard desktop viewports.
Known limitations
Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility, the following limitations may exist:
- The embedded video on the “Example” section links to YouTube, which is a third-party service. YouTube’s player has its own accessibility profile, including auto-generated captions which may not be perfectly accurate. We are working on hosting the demo with manually reviewed captions.
- Some partner logos in the “Partners & Awards” carousel are vector files supplied by the partner organisations. We have added descriptive
alttext but cannot guarantee the underlying SVGs were authored to be screen-reader friendly.
Compatibility
This website is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:
- Recent versions of major screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack)
- Speech recognition software (Dragon NaturallySpeaking, Voice Control)
- Operating system zoom up to 200%
- High-contrast modes on Windows and macOS
- Keyboard-only navigation
It is supported on the latest two stable versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge on desktop and mobile.
Technical specifications
This website relies on the following technologies for conformance with the accessibility standards used:
- HTML5
- WAI-ARIA 1.1
- CSS
- JavaScript (used only for the navigation scrollspy and the partners carousel; both have non-JS fallbacks — the page is fully usable with JavaScript disabled)
Assessment approach
Pzartech assessed the accessibility of this website by the following approaches:
- Internal manual checks of semantic structure and keyboard navigation on the currently published public routes.
- Internal contrast checks for the primary text/background combinations used in the current design system.
- Automated accessibility testing and CI gating are planned but are not yet active in this repository.
